The Geelong Music Teachers’ Association (GMTA) is a professional organization dedicated to the development and support of music teachers and their students in Geelong & district.

As well as providing publicity for its members, the GMTA conducts student recitals at all levels encouraging quality music performances, presents masterclasses and workshops with distinguished musicians, provides professional development sessions for teachers, and supports teacher performances throughout the year.

Parents may wish to choose a highly-qualified instrumental teacher for their children, teachers who are currently not members may wish to join our association by downloading our membership application form, and for interested onlookers, we hope that you will enjoy scrolling through the pages of this site and learn about our wonderful association which has a long and successful history.

The GMTA acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as Australia's First Nation people and Traditional Custodians of the land and waterways.
We pay respects to the local Wathaurong people of this land and their Elders, past, present and emerging.
